Our story

Three generations.
One standard.

The Crown & Blade opened its doors in 1987 when master barber Harold Morris returned from a four-year apprenticeship in Vienna and brought the old ways back to Southampton. His son Jamie took over the chair in 2009. His grandson Tyler joined in 2019. Three generations, same leather barber's chair, same obsession with the craft.

We don't rush. We don't compromise. We use straight razors, hot towels, and proper finish oils — the same tools and techniques Harold swore by. That's why our clients have been coming back for decades.
